This unique shower filter is a one year filter that uses a combination of KDF media with granular activated carbon (GAC) for maximum reduction of chlorine and other water contaminants. The KDF and GAC combination provide greater protection than any other shower filter.

How do I Install the SF 365?

   1. Unit is shipped with a blue plastic thread protector that needs to be removed and discarded.

   2. Place the yellow washer into the threaded opening.

   3. Detach existing shower head, use an adjustable wrench if necessary.

   4. Attach shower filter by threading unit onto the shower water pipe. Firm hand tightening without plumber¼s tape should be sufficient for leak free operation. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN

   5. Detach the Amcor massage shower head and allow the water to run through the filter for several minutes to flush the carbon fines from the unit. These will appear black in color and you may see some of these carbon fines flush from the unit when first turning on the shower for the first few uses. These are perfectly harmless and will disappear permanently.

   6. To backwash the filter, simply detach the filter system from the water pipe. Detach the shower head and attach the backwash adaptor in its place. The backwash adaptor is the white piece with female threads on both ends. Now attach the filter to the water pipe, facing in the opposite direction of normal use and run the water for several minutes to flush.
